Yachuli, October 6, 2025 | A four-day Teachers’ Orientation Programme on the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) began today at the District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Yachuli.The programme saw enthusiastic participation from educators representing various schools across Kra Daadi and Kurung Kumey districts.

Designed to empower teachers with innovative pedagogical practices and technology-integrated teaching methods, the orientation aims to align classroom instruction with the evolving objectives of the NCF in accordance with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

The inaugural session was graced by Shri Taba Guch, Block Education Officer (BEO), who attended as the Chief Guest on behalf of the Deputy Director of School Education, Keyi Panyor District. He was accompanied by Shri Pill Tayam, Coordinator (Pedagogy), whose presence added further significance to the occasion.

In his address, Shri Guch underscored the importance of continuous professional development for teachers, stating that “ongoing training and exposure to new pedagogical frameworks are essential for ensuring quality education and nurturing competent learners.”
Over the next three days, the programme will feature expert-led sessions, interactive workshops, and practical demonstrations, all aimed at strengthening educators’ capacity to implement the NCF effectively at the classroom level.

Principal DIET Yachuli, Sh. Onali Darung, and Senior Lecturer, Shri Padi Tyalyang, extended a warm welcome to the participating teachers and lauded their commitment to professional growth and educational excellence.
