Three persons  arrested for stealing Nissan terrano car in Ziro, Stolen vehicle has been recovered

On 10/12/24 ,the Ziro Police team arrested 3 individuals in connection with theft of a car parked in Gandhi market area,Hapoli.

The alleged accused have been identified as

1)Nanu tamang,18 yrs,

2)Robi Numi

3)Moidul Islam,24 yrs .

The stolen car has been recovered from the accused.

Acting on a complaint received on 04/12/24 regarding theft of a Nissan terrano vehicle from Hapoli area , a police team was constituted which was led by OC Insp.R. Borang and comprising SI’s K.Yigam,J.Doye and ASI’s L.Nyodu and T.Toma under the supervision of SDPO and SP Ziro

During investigation available CCtv footage’s was reviewed,technical analysis conducted and local sources engaged inorder to traced the unknown alleged accused.

After consistent efforts the person behind lifting of Nissan terrano vehicle Shri Nanu tamang,a resident of Lakhimpur dist.Assam was zeroed down and arrested from Ziro

Later upon his disclosure the team arrested other two individuals who happen to be brokers from Pappu nallah,Naharlagun.The arrested individuals are Robi Numi and Moidul Islam. The vehicle was recovered from the possesion of Moidul Islam accordingly.

During interrogation it was also revealed that the *alleged brokers have sold the stolen car at Rs 60000/- to a customer( receiver of stolen property)

Sincere efforts are being made to track down the receiver.

Further investigation is underway. Said the SP ziro.
