A preparatory meeting for the upcoming Ziro Festival of Music (ZFM) 2025 was successfully held on 11 August at the Golden Jubilee Conference Hall, Ziro, under the chairmanship of the Deputy Commissioner of Lower Subansiri District, Smti Oli Perme, APCS (AG). The meeting was attended by administrative officers, police officials, heads of departments, ZPC, ZPMs, and representatives from various community organisations, including TSD, AWAZ, AYA, ASU, ALSDSU, APWWS (Ziro Unit), AHDC, AHYA, Hao Lanker, Miha Pelo, Biirii Welfare Committee, Biirii Pani Samiti, and Sech MPCS Ltd.

Discussions covered key aspects such as event planning, security arrangements, crowd management, infrastructure readiness, and stakeholder coordination to ensure the smooth conduct of the festival. The Deputy Commissioner stressed the need for close cooperation among all departments and organisations, noting the festival’s significance as a cultural and tourism highlight for the district.
It was also informed that a separate meeting will be held with hotel and homestay owners regarding accommodation arrangements and guest verification, while the Superintendent of Police will convene with organisers and local volunteers for effective traffic management. According to the organisers, ZFM 2025 will take place from 25 to 28 September. Among others present were ADC Hage Tarung, ZPC Pura Dollo, DMO Dr. Millo Kunya, Executive Engineers of Power, PWD, PHE&WS, UD&H, President TSD Pura Sambyo, President AWAZ Dr. Subu Tasso Khampu, and other officers and representatives from various organisations.
