The Oath of Office and Handing Over Ceremony for the newly elected Central Executive Body of Tanii Supuñ Dukuñ (TSD) took place on March 15, 2025, in the presence of the Governing Council and outgoing executives. A total of 24 new executives officially assumed their roles after taking the oath. The new team is led by President Pura Sambyo and General Secretary Hage Komo, who replaced the outgoing President H.K Salla and General Secretary Taku Chatung. The outgoing executives shared their experiences and extended their best wishes to the newly elected team.
The election for the Central Executive Body was held during the 3rd General Conference cum Election of TSD, conducted on February 15-16, 2024. While addressing the gathering, the outgoing President and General Secretary reflected on their tenure and highlighted the achievements made during their leadership. They also encouraged the new team to work with dedication and unity for the welfare of the Apatani community.
In his speech, the newly elected President, Pura Sambyo, expressed his gratitude to the community for their trust and support. He assured that the new executive body would work towards preserving the rich cultural heritage of the Apatani people and addressing various social issues. Similarly, General Secretary Hage Komo emphasized teamwork and active participation from the youth to bring positive changes to society.
