Frequent occurrence of fires in Ziro

Investigating the frequent occurrence of fires in Ziro, we interviewed Er. Nani Pussang, Assistant Engineer (AE) of the Power Department. Local residents frequently attribute these fires to electrical malfunctions, such as short circuits or faulty wiring. During the interview, the AE acknowledged these concerns while emphasizing that human negligence and inadequate safety measures also play a significant role. He stressed the importance of proper electrical maintenance, regular safety inspections, and public awareness campaigns to mitigate fire risks.
