On 12 August 2025, at around 9:15 PM, Ziro Police Station received information that a few individuals had unlawfully entered a church near the DC Bungalow. The alert informant reported that the suspects were damaging property and committing theft inside the premises.
Acting promptly, a Ziro police team led by SI K. Yigam, SI J. Doye, ASI C. Talo, and constables C. Suyang, N. Suyang, and T. Param rushed to the spot. The suspects were caught red-handed.
They were later identified as Sh. Tadu Jarbo (23) and Sh. Tadu Laji (23), both apprehended while attempting to steal the following items:
Two Android LED TVs Three wall fans One CCTV monitor
A case (ZPS C/No. 47/25) under sections 331(4)/305(a)/3(5) of the BNS has been registered and assigned to ASI C. Talo for further investigation.
