The Gaon Bura and Gaon Buri of Ziro-Hapoli, made a unique collaboration with Ujwal Ziro Charity Mission, an award winning NGO working to alleviate garbage problem in the twin town of Ziro and Hapoli. The collaboration is led by the NGO Chairman Dulley Pai, together they have crafted bamboo dustbins for to be placed at every village in the region.
This eco-friendly initiative promotes clean and efficient waste management, as well as sustainability while honoring traditional bamboo craftsmanship. It stands as a model for community-driven environmental efforts.
