Yachuli, October 13: In an invigorating stride towards educational rejuvenation, the District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Yachuli, inaugurated the second phase of its four-day Orientation Programme on the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) for the Foundation Stage 2022, drawing participants from the Keyi Panyor and Lower Subansiri districts.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by District Adult Education Officer (DAEO) Rubu Buker as the Chief Guest and Makhe Muri as the Guest of Honour. The event stood as a testament to the transformative ethos enshrined in the NCF-FS 2022, which seeks to reimagine the nation’s foundational education through the prism of curiosity, creativity, and compassion.

Addressing the gathering, Senior Lecturer Padi Tailyang exhorted educators to internalize the spirit of joyful, inclusive learning, reminding them that education must transcend rote and reach the realm of inspiration. DIET Principal Onali Darung, in his address, underscored the imperative of implementing the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 in both letter and spirit, calling it a “transformative blueprint” capable of reshaping India’s educational landscape.
Chief Guest Rubu Buker, in an eloquent and stirring address, described teachers as “navigators of destiny,” urging them to cultivate classrooms that emanate curiosity and delight rather than fear and conformity. His words resonated as a clarion call to reimagine pedagogy as a voyage of discovery — one that honours the innate potential of every child.

Over the ensuing four days, the orientation programme will delve into the nuances of child-centric learning, inclusive education, and activity-based pedagogy, anchoring its discourse in the belief that the foundation of learning must be as holistic as it is humane.
The initiative at DIET, Yachuli, thus stands as a microcosm of India’s larger educational renaissance — one that seeks not merely to instruct young minds, but to ignite them.
