In a moment of pride and celebration, the Capital Police, Itanagar, organized a special felicitation ceremony to honour two remarkable students who successfully cracked NEET 2025 under the ambitious Project “सक्षम.” This initiative, launched to support the children of police personnel in their pursuit of medical education, has now begun to yield heartening results. Out of the seven students enrolled in the first phase of the project, two have secured their place among the country’s future medical professionals. The ceremony, held at the SP Office, witnessed an atmosphere filled with pride, inspiration, and encouragement as officers and dignitaries applauded the dedication, perseverance, and academic excellence of the students. These young achievers had been part of a year-long free coaching program run in collaboration with Lalan’s Coaching Centre, aimed at providing quality preparation and mentorship to aspiring NEET candidates.
Building on the success of the first phase, the Capital Police also marked the day with the official launch of “सक्षम 2.0.” With an expanded vision, the new edition of the program will select ten deserving wards of police personnel to receive complete academic support, including free coaching for NEET 2026. This initiative reflects the continued commitment of the Capital Police towards empowering police families, especially by creating educational opportunities for their children. The leadership reiterated that through education, they hope to uplift and inspire the next generation while standing firmly beside the families who form the backbone of the police force. With “सक्षम 2.0,” the Capital Police have once again underlined their belief that meaningful change begins with opportunity — and that nurturing talent is one of the most powerful ways to give back to the community they serve.
