15-04-2024, ZIRO: One arrested,Stolen cash worth 4 lakhs recovered
On 12/04/2024 At 1520 Hrs, FIR was filed at PS –Ziro from One Shri Rakesh Sharma, 38 Yrs, S/O Lt. Chhagan Lal Sharma, M/S Nani Enterprise, Post Office Road, Hapoli to The Effect That On 12/04/2024 In Between 0840 Hrs To 0920 Hrs Some Unknown Person Entered His Room and Stole Cash Amount Rs.4,90,500/- [Four Lakhs Ninety Thousand Five Hundred] Only.
On Receipt of FIR A Case Vide Ziro PS Case No.11/2024 U/S 454/380 IPC Registered and Endorsed to SI Jumgam Yomcha for Investigation.
There was no clue about the accused involved apart from that he was wearing a mask and drove off from the place of incidence on a yellow Scotty.
Since no other evidence or witness were found,
A dedicated team comprising of SDPO Ojing Lego, OC PS Ziro Insp Robert Borang, SI Jumgam Yomcha, SI Byai Tadu (PHQ) under the supervision of SP Keni Bagra were entrusted to study CCTV of the whole township area and lookout of the accused areawise.
Finally On 14.04.2024, after consistent effort one
Shri Takhe Halley, 38 Yrs, S/O Lt. Takhe Duma, Vill- Hong, Po/Ps-Ziro Has Been Arrested and recovered Cash Amount of Rs.3,93,500/- from his house. A yellow Scotty he used for the offence was also recovered along with three pieces of crowbar he used to commit the crime.
