 Here’s what it means

WhatsApp has rolled out a new reply bar for status updates. The company claims this UI improvement will lead to better engagement between users. As reported by WABetaInfo, the feature is presently available only for some iOS and Android beta testers.

As per the report, some beta testers may explore a new reply bar when viewing status updates. This improvement enhances the user experience by ensuring that the reply bar is consistently visible, making it more convenient for users to engage with status updates.

The reply bar is now persistently visible, similar to the setup in the Instagram app, eliminating the necessity for users to swipe up to access it. This modification is designed to streamline the interaction with status updates, offering users a more user-friendly interface in the process.

WhatsApp may allow users to share HD-quality images and videos as status
A recent online report revealed that WhatsApp may soon enable users to share HD-quality images and videos as status. As per WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is working on the ability to share HD-quality photos and videos in their status on the platform.

The Status section in WhatsApp now features a distinct HD icon, mirroring the icon for HD photo and video sharing present in WhatsApp. Users can simply click on this icon to choose high-resolution photos and videos, which they can then share as their WhatsApp Status.

With the incorporation of HD support in the Status feature, users now have the flexibility to decide whether they prefer to share their status in high-definition quality or not.
