DIRANG, FEB 23 : The foundation stone for newly created two diateict of state will be laid in 1st week of March. Said Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu.
Khandu was addteaaing a huge gathering on the occassion of inauguration of dozens of developmental projects and also laid foundation stone for dozens of new and public oriented projects at Dirang ADC headquarters in West Kameng district on Friday. The foundation stone of  Key Panyor diatrict will be laid on March 1st and Bichom diatrict on March 4th respectively. Said Khandu.
Since I assume as chief minister I have been doing the development works and welfare schemes in fasttrack and during last 8 years major development works has taken place and seen on ground and the general masses is being benefited in large scale. The major infrastructure project like of highway project from Tawang to Longding, upcomming frontier highway from Thrizino to Vijaynagar, airport at Hollongi, four lane road in capital complex, four new diateict which has been inaugurated including Leparada, Kamle, Si Yomi, etc has been seen several developmental projects.
Sea change has been witnessed in all sector including education, health, Agriculture, horticulture, connectivity including air connectivity, rail connectivity, digital connectivity. He said.
Several new schools has been established in various part of state including Sharda Mission school, RK Mission School, Army public school, several polytechnic institutions, skill development training centre’s, college and state own university at Pasighat etc. Several hospitals has been established in all the district and several hospital has been upgraded with new infrastructure and  technology. The most important is the TRIHMS at Naharlagun is catering to the modern health facilities with 1st batch of students has passed out and the state government is trying to enhance the seat from 50 to 110. Said Chief Minister.
Today 28 projects has been inaugurated and foundation laid including dozens of projects under JJM and I dedicate these projects to the people of Dirang. I have read the pulse of people across the state  I have visited and toured allmost all the far flung areas of state and trying to deliver the need based developmental projects. He said.
Today is a historic gathering I have seen in the area and is only due to the faith of people in the  BJP led  government in state.
Time never come back so its an opportunity for the people to elect the dedicated leaders and the leaders will work for the development of state and take the state to a new height. He said.
The two tunnels at Sela has been completed in all respects and is ready for inauguration. The tunnel at Sela will be inaugurated in 1st week of March. However due to huge snowfall and road block I have requested the BRO and district administration to open the tunnel for public convenience till inauguration. He said.
State has a huge potential in tourism and requested the people to visit Vijaynagar, Taksing, Anini and other beautiful locations of state which will promote tourism in the area. He said.

The major project inaugurated which include Model school, Water treatment plant, 320 flats for urban poor, road from Hamilton Bridge to Khasso village , RK Sardha mission middle school Khassa, road from Chug Bridge to Diet, infrastructure development at GHSS Dirang, block library building including boundary wall at Dirang, installation of additional 10 MVA Transformer at 132/33 KV Sub station at Dukumpani, improvement of distribution system under Firang Sub-Division,  residential and non-residential buildings for newly created transmission division  no-1 at Dirang, Augmentation of water supply to Dirang, providing water supplyvto Old Dirang , establishment of model residential school at Namshu, providing of water suplly to Rungkhung Diet centre and adjoining area,  khelo India multipurpose indoor hall at Dirang  vendor market etc.
Foundation stone for various orchestra laid which include VKV School at Dirang, construction of DIET at Dirang  infrastructure development at govt. Middle school, Dirang, composite Bridge over Chug river to connect Nisthang village  and Khardung village, 50 bedded hostel for men and women and confence hall at DIET Dirang, construction of material recovery facility at Dirang, road from Mohan camp to Dudri via Dirmey, school building of Govt Secretary School Dirang, road from BRTF road to Bhamrok via Khellong, New circuit house including compound wall/approach road/parking area at Dirang, reconstruction of Hamilton Bridge, teachers/staff quarter 8 nos at RKSM, Conversion cum cultural centre etc
