Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G to be the world’s first phone to feature Dimensity 7200 Ultra chipset

Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi recently launched the Redmi 13C affordable smartphone series in India. The Chinese smartphone making company is now set to launch its next smartphone, the Redmi 13 series in India. Redmi has already announced the launch date of the upcoming lineup which will succeed the Redmi 12 series which was launched earlier this year. The Redmi 13 series is already available in China.

The Redmi 13 series is set to launch on January 4 and will include the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G model. Now, the company has shared the first teaser about the upcoming smartphone model. Redmi took to social media platform X to reveal a few specs of the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G.

Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G: What we know so far
The company has confirmed that the smartphone will be the world’s first phone to come powered by the MediTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra chipset.

Redmi has also revealed that Redmi Note 13 Pro+ will sport a curved AMOLED display that will support 1.5K resolution.

The company has also announced that the upcoming smartphone’s rear panel will also feature a “Fusion Design” with Vegan Leather.

Apart from this, rumours suggest that the smartphone will retain the 4000mm² VC heat dissipation chamber for thermal management.

For photography, the smartphone is expected to house a triple rear camera setup which may include a 200MP main camera (Samsung ISOCELL HP3 sensor) with OIS support, 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro unit. The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ will also feature a 16MP front camera for selfies and video calls.

Just like the Chinese variant, the Indian version of the smartphone may also pack a 5000mAh battery unit that may support 120W fast charging.

The Redmi 13 series will also include more smartphones like the Redmi 13 Pro and the vanilla Redmi 13 variant. Details about these models is expected to surface in the coming days.

According to a report by FoneArena, the Redmi 13 series smartphones will be available via mi.com as well as other online and offline channels. The Pro models may be available only on e-commerce site Flipkart while the Redmi 13 smartphone may be purchased from Amazon.
