Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi launched its latest affordable smartphone series, the Redmi 13C lineup in India last week. The new smartphone lineup includes two models -- the Redmi 13C and the Redmi 13C 5G. The non-5G variant in the series is now available for customers to purchase. Redmi 13C sports a 90Hz HD+ Dot Drop display and is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 chipset. The base model of the smartphone officially starts at Rs 8,999, but Xiaomi is offering an introductory discount on the phone. Here’s how you can claim the discount on Redmi 13C:

Redmi 13C introductory discount: How to claim
Redmi 13C is available in multiple RAM and storage variants and can be purchased online (like Mi.com and Amazon) as well as from offline retailers. The 8GB+256GB variant is priced at Rs 11,499, the 6GB+128GB version carries a price tag of Rs 9,999. However, Xiaomi is offering a Rs 1,000 instant discount on the Redmi 13C smartphone if bought from the company’s official digital storefront Mi.com.

The discount can be availed on credit card, debit card and EMI transactions from ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank and SBI cards. EMI transactions from both credit and debit cards will be eligible for the discount. This means, the 4GB+128GB variant of the smartphone will be available at Rs 7,999.

Redmi 13C: Key specs
Redmi 13C sports a 6.74-inch display that supports 600 nits peak brightness and is powered by the 12nm-based Helio G85 mobile platform. For photography, the smartphone features a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP macro unit. The phone also boasts a 8MP front camera for selfies and video calls. Both rear and front cameras can record 1080p videos at 30 fps.
