Inauguration of medical building boosts healthcare in Soha

The Minister of PHE&WS, DoTCL&IT, Wangki Lowang, inaugurated a new medical building in Soha, marking a significant milestone for the region’s healthcare. The dedication ceremony, held on Thursday, was graced by the presence of IAS officer Vishakha Yadav, ADC Deomali, and other dignitaries.

During the event, Minister Lowang highlighted the building’s role in meeting the healthcare needs of PHC Soha, emphasizing its contribution to bolstering the overall health infrastructure in the area. He urged medical personnel, PHC staff, and local residents to actively participate in maintaining the hospital’s cleanliness.

ZPM Soha expressed gratitude to Minister Lowang for fulfilling a long-standing demand, benefiting the common people of Soha Circle. Minister Lowang commended the Water Resource Department for constructing the building with high quality, despite limited funds. The construction, amounting to Rs 30.00 Lakhs, was funded under SIDF.

Accompanied by ZPM Soha, Sam Korak, ZPM Namsang, and other local leaders, Minister Lowang acknowledged the efforts of various departments involved in the project, including EE WRD, EE Power, EE RWD, and MO in charge of Soha PHC. The new medical facility is poised to enhance healthcare accessibility for the residents of Soha and surrounding areas.
