PARIS (Reuters) – French President Emmanuel Macron will visit India’s capital New Delhi on January 26 for India’s Republic Day, the Elysee French presidential palace said on Friday, adding Macron would be welcomed as “chief guest”.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi was guest of honour at French national day celebrations in July.
