The game is developed by US-based video game developer Saber Interactive, the studio behind World War Z.

The game will be published by Saber Interactive and Boss Team Games.

​Be good or be evil

In this game, you can either fight on the side of the good or go over to the evil side. If you pick the evil side, you get to take control of the Kandarian Demon.

​Characters

The game lets you play as iconic characters from the Evil Dead universe. The roster includes Ash Williams, Scotty, Lord Arthur, Kelly Maxwell, Pablo Simon Bolivar, and more. Evil Dead The Game also features new dialogue performed by Bruce Campbell and others.

​​Gameplay and weapons

Since it's a game set in the Evil Dead universe, you can expect intense and graphic violence. Some of the weapons you can use include the short barrel shotgun, chainsaw, cleavers, etc.

​Co-op and PvP modes

The game features multiplayer co-op and PvP for PS5, Xbox X|S, PS4, Xbox One and PC. So, yeah, you can team up with friends to take on the armies of darkness.

​“Over-the-top” visuals promised

In Evil Dead The Game, “realistic visuals & physics-based gore brings the horror to life!”, say the developers.

​Platforms

The game will launch on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, Xbox One, PC (via Epic Games Store) and Nvidia GeForce Now. A version for the Nintendo Switch is also in the works and will be launched later.

​Release date

Evil Dead The Game is coming May 13, 2022.
