Yingkiong, Feb 19: Under the leadership of DC-cum-DEO Upper Siang, Hage Lailang, a crucial meeting was held at the DC’s conference hall in Yingkiong to assess and discuss the readiness for the upcoming general election.
The gathering covered a spectrum of vital components, including manpower, training, material and transport management, cyber security, IT, SVEEP, law and order, Vulnerable Mapping, security plan, EVM management, MCC, expenditure monitoring, ballot paper, postal ballot, ETPBS, media, communication plan, electoral rolls, complaints redressal, voter helpline, observers, and welfare management.
Nodal Officers provided updates on their respective tasks, with emphasis placed on meticulous adherence to the Election Commission of India’s directives. DEO Lailang urged all Nodal Officers to maintain effective coordination with the election office in Yingkiong, ensuring a seamless and efficient execution of their responsibilities.
