CM led team inspected the GJOS, directed all lined dept to take care of their respective responsibility before start of 77th NFC of santosh trophy

Manoj Singh || YUPIA, FEB 14 : Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu along with host of lawmakers and officers on Wednesday morning visited the golden jubilee outdoor stadium, Yupia and updated the up-to-date preparation for the upcoming soccer tourney from February 21st onwards. The Chief minister issued necessary directions to the officers of various line departments in for a grand success.

The Chief Minister interacted the officers of various department and ask them to make all necessary arrangement and preparation before they began of the tourney. 

Khandu said that it is happy moment that Arunachal Pradesh is set to host the final rounds of 77th edition of National Football Championship of Santosh Trophy, 2024. Every officers and person attached should not spare no efforts to make the event memorable. 

Speaking to media, Arunachal Pradesh football association (APFA) Secretary Kipa Ajay said that it would be a history for our state that we have been given the responsibility to host the event and its and opportunity so we have taken it as a challenge. All preparation is underway. And every person attached to the event has taken up in best possible way to make the inaugural ceremony a memorable one. He said.

The championship is scheduled from February 21 and the first match will be played between Arunachal Pradesh and Goa. The final match will be played on March 9. Three matches will be played every day. Day and night matches will be played under flood light, adhering to international standards as approved by the All India football federation norms. It was a dream for us to host games under such management and it has been possible under the active supervision of our president and chief minister Pema Khandu who is proactive for the youth development programme. He said.

It was a happy moment that the Chief Minister and his team and officers has vested the stadium and interacted with the officers and official and also meet the Arunachal’s football team, motivated them to give their best performance on the field and unveiled the official jersey of the team.  Said Ajay.

We are committed to provide best of the hospitality and accommodations. All the best hotels of capital complex has been booked. All the necessary officers and agency has been asked to provide all possible help and cooperation so that no any problem related to water supply, sanitation, parking, law and order, sitting of audiences, cleaning of the campus and surroundings area, He said.

Separate meeting with all line department has alos been made to ensure all services uninterrupted. Added APFA Secretary KIpa Ajay adding that anyone wanetd to witness the games has to obtain ticket whereas the inaugural ceremony is free for all and everyone is invited to witness the inaugural match on Feb 21st

He further said that those person willing to get ticket can do through online or can obtain ticket at Golden jubilee stadium at Yupia.

It would be a historic event for us so we have to show our best of the hospitality to the guest, visitors and players coming from various states of country. 

Meanwhile, Papum Pare Deputy Commissioner Jikken Bomjen inform that the golden jubilee outdoes stadium (GJOS), Yupia is becoming centre fo attraction for the state. It would be a historic occasion that the 77th edition of the Santosh trophy is being played at Yupia. The Chief Minister has visited the stadium and interact the officers and take stock of the predation. He issues necessary direction to all the officers and officials associated with the tourney. He ask everyone to cooperated and support for grand celebration and successful completion of the tourney. Said DC Bomjen.

It is an opportunity for the Papum Pare district administration and we are also preparing ourselves so that general public and commuters and football lovers does not face much problem and enjoy the matches comfortably. He added.
