2nd edition of Late Mai That camdir memorial football and volleyball tournament here at Mai village

YACHULI, DEC 15 ; 2nd edition of Late Mai That camdir memorial football and volleyball tournament here at Mai village in Yachuli under Lower Subansiri district on Thursday amid huge gathering. Prizes were distributed by host of dignitaries.

The 2nd edition of Late Mai Tath camdir memorial football and volleyball tournament here at Mai village in Yachuli which began on December 15 participated by several teams of man and women form the locality of Mai village in Yachuli circle of the district. The week long tournament was sponsored by Social worker Mai Aram Camdir.

The final match were played which include the Women’s volleyball Final match played between Toju sector and Roman Catholic Church and the Roman catholic Church emerged as winner and runner up, TOJU sector. Leij Yanam become Best player women. In men category of volleyball played between Passa sector and Toju sector

Passa sector emerged as winner and  runner-up Toju sector.  Likha Tadh become the best player.

In  football ( Men) Final match played between Nyuch sector and Roman catholic church.  Nyuch score 1Goal and Catholic Church-0.. Nyuch sector emerged as winner and Roman Catholic Church as runner-up. Best Goal keeper was declared to -Mai Tatum while Mai Tayum was man of the tournament whereas Toju sector was adjudge as discipline team.

North East regional institute of science & Technology (NERIST)  Executive Engineer Naban Titu, Nirjuli Market welfare committee (NMWC) General secretary Tok Tebin was chief guest and guest of honour respectively. While NERIST Asstiant Registrar and NERIST officer Ram Singh Tana Taje Tara was special invitee on the occasion.

The dignitaries interacted the players and locals and motivate them to play any types of games and sport to maintain physical fitness and also avail the benefit of the provision of sports quota if the players emerged excel in national, international and even in Olympic games and earn job and reputation for the state and country. 

Social workers and youth leader Mai Aram Camdir, Organising Chairman Ha Tai, Organising Secretary Likah Loma among other also address the function.
